(AHAHA!! I Dug this up in my old journal, and thought I'd Re-post it here. xD its amusing to me considering circumstances and such right now!)

Funny how movies and TV make something so low and vile as a con man not only someone we root for, but also a sex symbol. Here's a few that stand out to me!

So this was VERY hard! I couldn't even think up ten!! I was really torn over the number one spot...but in the end....my weak heart gave out on me.

Why: Roy may not have had the typical win for all con-society, but he was just too adorable to not love. I love most of John's work and think The Grifters is among some of his best (lesser known) works. Besides what boy wants to have to choose between his mom and his woman??

Who: Kevin Kline, Kenneth Branagh
Where: The Road to El Dorado
Why: So one's obsessed with gold, and the other the world.... They pretended to be Gods to get their pay. Classic Con man Style.

Rusty Ryan

Where: Ocean's Eleven
Why: Rusty isn't really you're typical con man. He recruits, he organizes...but when it comes to the brains, well Rusty is more attune to science and technology than the human mind. He is Danny's go to guy, and his idea bouncer, and the best person to come to if you need a (cheesy) yet convincing acting job done for a con.

Danny Ocean
Who: George Clooney
Where: Ocean's Eleven
Why: A highly skilled, yet slightly inept con man who runs the Vegas circuit. He believes in team work, disguises, and theatrics to accomplish his cons, and dammit he will sit behind a computer calling the shots all day if he has too! With a charming smile and lots of humor, Danny Ocean has solidified himself as a con man to remember.

Who: Jason Statham
Where: The Italian Job
Why: Um, he's hot and has an accent...and he drives fast cars. Vroom.

Dimitri
Who: John Cusack (again)
Where: Anastasia
Why: I've decided not to be ashamed of thinking cartoons (and comics!) are hot. Dimitri certainly fits the bill. He's a con man more out of necessity than malice (as are most) He is sure of himself, which as infuriating as it can be, is really attractive, and to top it off he's so romantic! It makes a girl's heart sigh.

James 'Sawyer' Ford
Who: Josh Holloway
Where: LOST
Why: You mean I need a reason? His tragic childhood aside, 'Sawyer' as it stands is one of the best con men on the small screen. (If not the only!) He is charming, *coughsexy*, and can play those around him like a fiddle. The best part is he has a conscience under there, and that makes him endearing <3

Remy 'Gambit' LeBeau
Who: Marvel
Where: X-Men
Why: Trying to decide whether or not to make Gamby number one just about killed me xD But in the end it was only won over by the realness of Maverick. Like his dominator, both are card sharks. Gambit has an accent to die for, and all the charm to go with it. Bad boy aura mingled with hisglowing eyes....mmm Gambit can con me anyday. :D

Where: Maverick
Why: First off, if you have not seen Maverick, SHAM ON YOU, Stop reading, and go watch it NOW. ~~Bart~~ Bret Maverick is the con-man of my dreams....from his mischievious schemes, to those baby blues...and that smile. I could just melt. xD I would pay him to con me. No jokes.

What Will I Choose!

10. Whatever The Case May Be

When Kate and Sawyer find a case on a dead passenger, Kate begins to act erratically, using whatever means necessary to get it away from Sawyer. At the beach, Sayid and Shannon begin to get close. Flashbacks in this episode center around Kate's involvement in a bank robbery in New Mexico.

9. Abandoned

When Shannon sees Walt in her tent, she becomes convinced that he needs her help. Meanwhile, Sawyer's bullet wound starts to become infected, prompting the tail-section group to pick up the pace, and risk cutting across the jungle where the Others attacked them from.

8. The Man Behind The Curtain

After bringing his father's body to Ben, Locke demands to see Jacob, the leader of the Others. Meanwhile, Sawyer returns to camp with the tape recorder, causing everyone to finally confront Jack and Juliet.

What makes a hero?

A Hero is not something that can be tangibly defined.

A hero is one of the most objective things, for to some their Hero might be an Anti-Hero to others, so the question is begged; What Makes A Hero?

It is my personal belief that the core definition of a Hero is someone who will Stand Up for what they believe to be right no matter the cause or case. Selfless sacrifice, from the most meager and petty things to something so valuable as their own life. A hero is someone who looks out for others over themselves, and has strong opinions. A hero would not back down if what they perceived as Right were challenged or put in peril.

But what makes a Hero, Is in the moment. The moment someone makes a choice, and that choice defines who they are, not matter the grandeur of the decision or the moment, Its our choices that makes us Heroes.

It is not Creed, Race, or Wealth. It is not Faith or Power. It is not having a cape and fantastic abilities; A Hero, does not come with a requirement that must be met, everyone has an equal chance at being a hero. It is what we can all be, If we choose to so be.

So have you all heard? Jeremy Bentham is apparently not so dead. He has an uber cryptic blog, Clickity Here .

I have been trying to wrap my mind around his entries and make some sense of it, but without much luck. One thing that struck me as odd was a member of The Fuselage posted int he Ask Admins section about a post of his that was deleted without a word, a Post about Jeremy Bentham's Blog. In the post he made asking about it, the Link was editted out, and no response was given. This is not typical of the Lage.

I think its an conspiracy!! Some sort of secrety members only type thing. Mr. Bentham has also appeared on Facebook (my addiction, as you can see I'm not the biggest LJ user. LOL)

ANYWAYS!! On ward to the Bloggings of Jeremy "Not John Locke" Bentham.
